In what observers are calling a defining moment for celebrity accountability culture, Leonardo DiCaprio's public relations apparatus has reportedly implemented a revolutionary conflict resolution protocol involving Italian cuisine following comedian Nikki Glaser's comprehensive roast of his dating patterns and general opacity regarding personal information.
According to multiple people familiar with the matter, the Oscar-winning actor's team discovered that traditional crisis management approaches—such as issuing statements, hiring lawyers, or simply ignoring criticism—may have been insufficient for addressing public commentary about his romantic preferences and mysterious lifestyle. "Leo's people realized that maybe, just maybe, the appropriate response to getting absolutely bodied by a comedian was to send her some really good pasta," said Dr. Miranda Castellanos, Senior Fellow of Celebrity Behavioral Analytics at the Hollywood Reputation Institute. "It's giving 'sorry I got called out for being weird, please accept these carbs' energy."
The pasta-based diplomatic initiative has reportedly increased celebrity-comedian relations by 230% in the entertainment industry, with sources noting that the strategy represents a significant departure from previous approaches to public criticism. Entertainment Weekly confirmed that seven other A-list actors have now retained Italian cuisine consultants following the success of DiCaprio's carbohydrate diplomacy program. "We're seeing a complete paradigm shift in how celebrities respond to being publicly read for filth," explained Chad Brenner, 42, a crisis communications specialist who asked to remain anonymous but then immediately provided his name and age.
When reached for comment, Glaser's representative confirmed that the comedian has been too busy eating the delivered pasta to provide further analysis of DiCaprio's dating history. "Nikki is currently unavailable for interviews as she's experiencing what she describes as 'the most emotionally complex relationship she's ever had with penne,'" the representative stated.
